Mary Therese Doheny, J.D.

A leader in the area of family law, Mary Therese Doheny is experienced in family law litigation as well as in conflict mediation and collaborative dispute resolution.

Ms. Doheny has extensive experience in complicated custody cases involving evaluations and guardian ad litem for the children. Also, she has tried and settled many family law financial cases involving valuations of corporations, determinations of child support and maintenance and division of marital property.

Ms. Doheny spent the first 8 years of her practice in Seattle, Washington, and worked with many disability groups, dealing with a general practice. On her return to Chicago, she joined the Cook County Public Guardian's Office in the Divorce Division. She is a certified child representative and has presented at various family law seminars.
