Association of family and conciliation courts

AFCC is the premier interdisciplinary and international association of professionals dedicated to the resolution of family conflict.  AFCC members are the leading practitioners, researchers, teachers and policymakers in the family court arena. CHICAGO BAR ASSOCIATION

Founded in 1874, The Chicago Bar Association is one of the oldest and most active metropolitan bar associations in the United States. Its objectives include establishing and maintaining the honor and dignity of the profession of the law and increasing the usefulness of the legal profession in promoting the due administration of justice and the public good. FAMILIES CHANGE

Families Change provides age-appropriate advice and “guides” to help your family through this process. While based in Canada, Families Change can provide information and guidance on dealing with emotional changes that may occur with separation and divorce that is universal across national boundaries.

FAMILYKIND

FamilyKind is a nonprofit organization empowering children, parents and couples before, during and after separation or divorce — no matter their family configuration, or financial situation. Based in New York, FamilyKind offers information and services, including online parenting classes and webinars

RAINBOWS

Rainbows  is a fantastic program and can help your child cope with the new realities that a divorce can create. These changes and losses can be just as difficult for a child to process as a parent. This program is sponsored by many schools, churches and even libraries in the Chicagoland area and beyond.
